National Customer Service Manager
(Industrial Division - Ajax, ON)


The Successful Candidate will:
  • Manage the provision of effective customer service
  • Manage the effective support of the sales team
  • Ensure that warranty work is carried out effectively and efficiently
  • Provide value-added customer service related reporting
  • Effectively manage the Customer Service Team
Education and Experience
  • Post Secondary Education; customer service program preferred
  • Three to six years related experience – preference for industrial battery industry
  • Three to five years managerial experience
Competencies
  • Customer focused; coaches others for exceptional customer service orientation.
  • Proven ability to manage, lead, and motivate employees to meet performance standards.
  • Able to effectively manage a team remotely.
  • Builds a long-term relationship, credibility with the customer.
  • Trouble shoot, identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Communicates clearly, both written and verbally.
  • Handles transaction and dealings in the best interest of both the customer and Company.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of industrial battery applications and specifications a definite asset.
  • Accurate, with an eye for detail.
  • Uses automated information systems to analyze customer situations.
  • Identifies and implements improvements.
This position is located in our head office in Ajax, Ontario with a requirement to travel to our branches across Canada.

National Service Manager
(Industrial Division - Ajax, ON)


The Successful Candidate will:
  • Effectively manage the Service Team located across Canada
  • Manage the provision of effective support related to the Company’s products
  • Contribute to the growth of the after-sales support
  • Ensure post-sales customer satisfaction is maintained at a high level
  • Manage value-added reporting
Education and Experience
  • Post Secondary Education; technical certificate or diploma from a community college or technical institution with a focus on electrical related or other technical courses
  • Three to six years related experience preferably in the industrial battery industry
  • Three to five years people management experience
Knowledge and Skills
  • Knowledge of industrial battery applications and specifications
  • Proven sales ability
  • Ability to plan and organize schedule
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including superior presentation skills
  • Strong forecasting and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of automotive after-market and the industrial battery industry
  • Proven ability to manage, lead, and motivate employees to meet performance standards
  • Ability to effectively manage a team remotely
Other
  • Willingness and ability to travel (approximate one week per month) to branches across Canada

Sales/Administrative Assistant (Ajax, ON)

The Successful Candidate will provide exemplary administrative support by:
  • Being the accessible point-of-contact to Executive/Senior Management for all internal and external clients
  • Preparing confidential communication material on behalf of management
  • Co-ordinating and managing all meeting & travel arrangements; submitting expense statements
Provide strong support and be a positive contributor to the sales function by:
  • Preparing regular and adhoc sales reports
  • Managing pricing database (system input, requests for price comparison, pricing adjustments)
  • Managing customer relationship database
  • Managing and following up on supplier leads
  • Ensuring all national accounts and seasonal programs are updated, distributed and posted
  • Conducting margin reviews on programs and/or accounts
  • Maintaining rebate schedules
Education and Experience
  • Diploma in Business or Office Administration or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years executive and administrative experience a must
  • Preference for sales administrative experience
  • Automotive or Industrial experience an asset
  • Ability to speak French an asset
Knowledge and Skills
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Practical – able to take concept, work with it to develop appropriate reports / communications
  • Exceptional telephone manner and verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior organization, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
