Deka Unigy Battery Systems

Our Unigy Battery Systems are ideal for critical backup power applications in a variety of applications: telecommunications, switchgear controls, cellular radio, photovoltaics, railroad signs, communications and uninterruptible power supplies. Both our Unigy I and Unigy II products have been manufactured using computer integrated technology for 10 and 20 year design life (in float applications @ 25°C / 77°F),and all Unigy II cells perform at 100% of rated capacity upon initial shipment. Our wide range of sizes and capacities allow a flexible, customized power solution configured to enhance space savings and versatility.



Deka Unigy I
(12 Volt 10 year Design, Front Access & Monobloc Models)

VRLA AGM Battery Designed for Ultimate Performance
Deka Unigy I sealed lead-acid batteries are designed in AGM (absorbed glass mat) and GVR (gelled electrolyte valve regulated) technologies for virtually any application. Both are UL recognized and are made in the U.S.A. with individual plate formation to optimized cell-to-cell voltages.

Unigy I batteries are also available in front access and top terminal configurations creating flexibility in any system design.

Valve-regulated, sealed lead-acid battery technology designed for ultimate performance
Deka Unigy 12AVR-145 sealed lead-acid batteries are available as AVR (absorbed valve regulated) with the following features: Pure lead positive grids, front access terminals, individually formed plates, flame retardant polypropylene, flame arrestor, self sealing vents, epoxy post seals and a design life of 10 years in full float applications @ 25°C/77°F.

(12 Volt Stackable 20 year Design, VRLA Battery Systems)

The Deka Unigy II Space Saver is a sealed lead-acid battery system that uses AVR (absorbed valve regulated) technology. Designed to meet the demands of critical backup power applications, this highly efficient battery line utilizes a smaller footprint to save space while providing optimal power. The design and construction meet the UBC97 Zone 4 specifications, certified up to 8 modules high. A major feature is our individually tank-formed plates, which ensures full and uniform plate charging and balanced cell voltages. All Unigy II Space Saver cells perform at 100% of rated capacity upon initial shipment.

The Deka Unigy II Space Saver Interlock is available in AVR45, 75, 95 and 125AH. Our patented system eliminates rear bolting, allows front access bolting and increases installation safety. It offers more choices in configuring the battery system, provides more flexibility when choosing height and length of your particular system configurations, and enhances space saving and versatility.



Deka Unigy HR

Designed Specifically for UPS Service
This line is housed in standard polypropylene or flame retardant polypropylene rated at 28 LOI 12 volt monobloc. The absorbed glass-mat (AGM) construction lowers internal resistance for superior high-rate, short-term discharges typical of UPS demands.
